Online Learning in COVID-19

As education institutions remain closed, even as a new academic year begins, schools and colleges are going online.

An India Brand Equity Foundation (IBEF) report released in April 2019 reported that the “online education market in India was worth $247 million in 2016 that was expected to grow to $1.96 billion by 2021 at a compound annual growth rate of 52%.” The COVID-19 pandemic has however ensured that in all probability those estimates have been beaten. With online schooling, there is a need for parents and children to work together to create regular routines and study habits at home. It is essential to ensure a quiet place with minimal distractions around the study area and a comfortable, ergonomic chair.
