Schneider Electric co created a session with Commercial Design and Construction Week to host a neutral, credible, and meaningful platform for an industry discussion on commercial buildings of the future.

The buildings of the future conference, Mumbai chapter had a selection of industry leaders debate about the critical role they play in the commercial real estate industry as developers, owners, operators, consultants, and technology solution providers.

As Net Zero buildings are becoming the need of the hour, the first panel discussion about ‘Reshaping Real Estate in India Towards Net Zero Buildings’ was moderated by Bibhor Srivastava, Managing Director, ITP Media India. Sustainability is going to have a very positive impact on assets and is helping in a big way going forward.

Logistics is a happening sector today and a key element is warehousing. This session was moderated by Prajakta Karnik, Editor, ITP Media Group. Warehousing has seen an exponential growth and was valued at around 1 trillion rupees in 2020 and is growing at a CAGR of 15% till 2025.

Storage space has evolved over time and is about multiple processes, which happens inside the warehouse like sorting and packaging making it a process intensive facility that needs automation to increase the efficiencies of the processes happening.

The initiatives taken on the government like multimodal logistics will help improve efficiency. Hence digitization is the driver to become more sustainable and helps the sector become more efficient.
