Coco Shambhala was specifically created to provide a contrast to the adventure of travelling in Goa.

Coco Shambhala Sindhudurg was born from the desire to showcase some of the hidden gems of the western coast of India, beyond Goa. At both properties, we seek to welcome our guests into an pasis of calm tranquility after exploring the exhilarating sights, sounds, tastes and textures that the coast has to offer.

Each house in Sindhudurg has a private infinity pool facing out to sea, which allows you to reflect on your experiences whilst relaxing in gloriously cool water, a soothing contrast to the heat of the day. The open and large living pavilions are the heart of each house, they provide space for sharing adventures with friends whilst being enveloped by stunning vegetation and gorgeous views of the sea. Coco Shambhala Sindhudurg is a very special escape, but it’s the location in southern Maharashtra, a spectacular gem of India. which hopefully makes the experience incredible.

At Coco Shambhala, the team has created a distinctive brand of wild, rugged luxury and warm hospitality that makes you want to never leave. In India they say a guest in your home is God. Therefore you will be welcomed and treated as a family friend staying in at our home.

When on holiday one of the greatest pleasures is discovering the regions food and this is where you are taken on a cultural journey through the culinary highlights of this region and beyond. Indulging their penchant for fresh, beautiful ingredients the team works closely with local small holding farmers and fisherman, before applying their signature style to celebrate the rich bounty of organic produce and Seafood found in this remote tropical paradise.

The village of Bhogwe, in Sindhudurg. Is predominantly a sleepy fishing and farming community. After dark, you will find it very quiet and relaxing, save the occasional chorus of dogs, crickets or frogs. We request you to keep the volume of your music on the docking station. to a minimum, so as not to disturb the other guests and local residents.
